HOME & FAR AWAY TRAVELS

This collection of oil paintings is from a solo exhibition called: Home and Far Away Travels. They are poetic new worlds in a style of modern naive & folk art.

Some paintings show houses that are settled amongst very large trees, rivers, mountains and in a place of enchanting beauty. There is a feeling of contentment, magic and peace. A full circle moment in time to soak in and enjoy. Other paintings show people in boats, in these, there is a feeling of wanting to explore and that something new, unknown and wonderful lies ahead.  A time for changing things up a bit and to take pleasure in the process of change.

This collection was shown at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire during 2022 and 2023 as part of the Healing Arts Fund offering solace and inspiration to all who viewed them.
